UPDATE

Just so everyone knows, ALA Band has had a BUNCH of things going on these past few weeks. Here's an update:

Percussion Ensemble - Took 3rd Placeat State Percussion Ensemble (March 29th at Timberline)
Jazz Band - Got an excellent rating at State Championships (April 4th at Murray HS)
Winter Guard - Took 3rd place at State Championships (April 5th at West HS)

Symphonic Band - Just qualified for State Today! YIPPEE!! (May 2nd at UVSC)

The GRAND REVIEW (Theme: PARIS at NIGHT) April 24,25,and 28th at ALA

Our FINAL BAND CONCERT (May 15th at ALA) 7pm
Our FINAL BAND BANQUET (May 16th at ALA) 6pm - Includes dinner and awards $5.00 per person---or $25.00 for a family of 6.

You are welcome to come to any/all of these events. I think I am finally getting a little less busy now, so I hope to see you all soon. I look foward to SPRING BREAK next week in VEGAS!! WOO HOO!!

STOOOPID WINTER!!

Okay. I have had quite enough of these ridiculous snow storms! It is supposed to be SPRING NOW!! Didn't anyone tell the weather? UGH. I need to just move down to Mexico or something where this won't be a problem.

Oh well...welcome to Utah, eh?

I hope everyone is having a good day! I am headed off to Region Solo/Ensemble today up at Layton Christian Academy. Tomorrow I am off to judge a Region Band Festival at Alta High School. Friday is STATE JAZZ BAND at Murray High School. Then Saturday is STATE WINTER GUARD at West High School. WOW!! Quite the crazy week! Can't wait for spring break when Kara and I get to go to VEGAS!! Woo hoo!
